Tammy Polanco currently works in San Jose, CA at optics semiconductor manufacturer NeoPhotonics as a HR Director and Business Partner to their Global R&D division. She has over 20 years of hands-on experience leading HR initiatives including policy design, compensation, performance management, compliance, HRIS implementations, workflow development, and benefits administration.

Before joining Neo, Tammy was the Global HR Director at Exar Corporation, and prior she was a Senior Account Manager at an insurance firm specializing in Employee Benefits. Additionally, She has worked as a consultant for over a decade in numerous industries focusing on decreasing turnover rates and improving employees satisfaction. She earned her Bachelors from San Jose State University. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP.)
